About Calculaxy
A small, growing library of free calculators, built by one developer who got tired of clunky calculator sites.
Calculaxy started with a simple annoyance. Every time I needed a quick calculation, whether it was concrete for a small project or a loan payment, the top search results were either cluttered with ads, asked me to sign up first, or gave a number with zero explanation of how it was worked out. I wanted something simpler than that, so I decided to build it.
What we actually do
Calculaxy offers free calculators across five areas: math, construction, automotive, finance, and health. Each calculator lives on its own page with a working tool at the top and a short, plain language explanation underneath, covering what the numbers mean and how the result was reached.
How the calculators are built
Every formula is tested against a few real examples before the page goes live, and the written parts of each page are drafted by hand rather than generated automatically. If a calculation depends on local rules or standards that vary by country or region, that gets called out clearly instead of quietly assumed.
Where this is headed
New calculators are added on a rolling basis, usually starting with the ones people search for the most. If a calculator you need is not on the site yet, the contact page is the fastest way to ask for it.
What this site is built on
A few principles that guide every page we add.
Free, with no catch
No account, no premium tier, and no calculator hidden behind a paywall. The site earns through ads, not through charging visitors.
Accuracy first
A calculator that gives the wrong number is worse than no calculator at all, so formulas are checked before anything is published.
Built for mobile first
Most visitors arrive from a phone search, so every tool is designed to work comfortably on a small screen before it's tested on a desktop.
